No VAT Increase for Yellohire Customers
Reaffirming our position as Britain’s leading provider of cheap van and car hire, we are making a generous pledge to all of our customers: we will not make you pay a penny extra for our services in consequence of the latest rise in VAT.
The most recent rise in VAT came into effect on the 4th January 2011, on which date the tax rose from 17.5 per cent to 20 per cent. Whereas many of our competitors have implemented the rise across all products and services, we have not adjusted our prices. Yellohire believes in rewarding its customers, not penalising them when times are tough.

2011 VAT Increase..
Times are tough for us all and to reward all of our faithful customers who have help us grow through the years, as well as our new customers, we have decided to absorb the VAT increase. Don’t get ripped off by the VAT increase, think van hire, think YelloHire.
As you will probably be aware the current rate of VAT is due to increase from 17.5% to 20% on January 4th 2011. YelloHire will NOT be applying this new rate but will absorb the additional cost which means that renting a vehicle through YelloHire will be even more advantageous.
