Important notice
We would ask all our customers to note that at the time of renting a vehicle, it is necessary to produce your valid driving licence for both the driver and any additional authorized drivers, (both parts for the new U.K license holders), NO PHOTOCOPIES ACCEPTED, this must have been held for at least one year in most countries (please check when booking). Two further proofs of identification, such as passport, utility bills etc. Failure to produce these valid documents at the time of rental may result in YelloCar and Van Hire or is agents being unable to satisfy your booking and as a result, all monies paid will be forfeited.
Please ensure that the main driver has a valid credit card to cover deposit payments at the time of vehicle collection.

The Contract
There will be no contract between the company and the hirer until the appropriate deposit or payment in full has been received by the company and the booking confirmed in writing by the company. The company reserves the right to amend prices and conditions of hire without notice . Furthermore all amounts and age limits shown below are subject to change by the local supplier and/or government agencies, including increases in local VAT or other tax without notice
What's included
All YelloCar and Van rental rates include unlimited mileage (except Canada and Australia), fully comprehensive insurance, collision damage waiver liability (CDW), theft waiver, airport surcharges, bail bonds, where required but exclude costs for vehicles taken outside the country of hire, and all local taxes except Australia and Israel where taxes are paid locally by law.
What is not included
- Personal accident insurance - this is an option available from the rental location and must be paid locally.
- Insurance exclusions
- Fuel - a deposit is often payable for fuel and is usually refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. Please check the local petrol policy upon collection of the vehicle.
- Parking and traffic fines. It is the hirer's responsibility to pay any parking fines, tow away charges, impounding fees or traffic fines incurred whilst the vehicle is in their custody. This rule also applies to airport waiting areas and cars must be redelivered to points as instructed at time of collection. Please note administration fees may be charged.
- Additional driver charges, unless selected. Please note that you may be able to request an additional driver upon collection of your car. Any additional charges in relation to this will be paid locally.

Special Requests: Baby/child seats, roof racks, ski racks and snow chains may be available in most destinations provided they are specially requested at the time of booking, although these items cannot be guaranteed at any time. In most cases a small charge will be made. The cost of these items is subject to change without prior notification .
Period of rental for on-line reservations only
the UK and Ireland minimum rental period is 24 hours for all other countries the minimum rental period is 3 days. Rental days are based on a 24-hour period. The price is determined by the start time of the hire. If you wish to extend the rental period after collection of the vehicle, or if the vehicle is returned late, you will be charged locally at the local daily rate. No refunds are given for vehicles returned early.
Driving Areas
Generally vehicles may be taken out of the original country of hire on the continent of Europe (Excluding Great Britain and Ireland ). There may be a local charge for this service (check with reservations). Vehicles may be taken out of Great Britain to both Ireland and other EEC counties but by prior agreement only, there is usually an additional charge and Insurance fee to pay for this service. Vehicles must not be taken in to some Eastern European countries or Morocco . Cars may not be taken in to Mexico from the USA . Clients wishing to travel into other countries must make this known when placing a reservation and permission must be requested at all times.
Flight information
for an airport pick up, it is essential that YelloCar and Van Hire be given the correct flight number and arrival time before departure. Should this information change, please contact our central reservations on +44 (0) 870 789 7789 or email reservations@yellocarandvanhire.com quoting the booking reference number. ). Rental locations in most airports shut after the last scheduled flight was due to arrive. If an out-of-hours service can be provided, there may be a local fee. If a scheduled flight is delayed you may incur additional charges for waiting time. If flight information is not provided in time, no responsibility will be accepted or compensation allowed for failed rentals.
Driver's age

if you are under 25 years of age you will not be able to hire a vehicle. If you are over 65 years of age, please contact our reservation call centre on +44 (0) 870 789 7789. (most vehicles from Mini’s up to Porches are available to rent to people over the age of 25)
Some age restrictions may apply and in some cases there is a young drivers charge paid locally.
Child seats
child seats - these are recommended and must be requested at the time of booking. Please note that should you decide to book the child seat locally upon collection of your car, that we cannot guarantee availability and a local charge will become payable.
Amendments to bookings
amendments to a booking will be subject to a £15 amendment fee. Amendments can only be made up to 7 days prior to the booking commencing. all amendments are subject to confirmation and must be made through YelloCar and Van Hire’s central reservations department +44 (0) 870 789 7789.
Cancellation protection
for just £5 per rental, our cancellation protection will protect you from any cancellation charges payable if you are unable to honour your booking prior to collection date. Please note that refunds will not be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date, even if cancellation protection is taken.
Cancellation charges
all cancellations must be made through YelloCar and Van Hire’s central reservations department +44 (0) 870 789 7789 and are subject to cancellation charges as detailed below. (Why do we do this? We are charged these rates as a minimum for cancelling your reserved vehicle with our suppliers)
- 28 days or more notice 25% cancellation fee
- Between 28 - 15 days notice 50% cancellation fee
- Between 14 - 5 days notice 70% cancellation fee
- 4 days or less notice 100% cancellation fee
Collection
your vehicle must be collected from your downtown office or from your airport location. If you are collecting your vehicle from an airport location please check your booking confirmation letter/email for airport meet and greet procedures.
Out of hours charges
in most airport locations, flights will be met and cars supplied outside most working hours. However, there will be an additional charge for this service, paid locally. We will forward information with regards to this when your flight times are received. Please note that in the event of the flight being delayed, causing the pick up to fall outside normal working hours, the flight will usually be met and the reservation honoured and usually with no additional charges.
Driving licences
drivers must produce a full valid driving licence held for at least one year. It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence. Our reservation system will determine the validation of insurance based on information provided by the driver or the additional driver. Should the information supplied at the time of booking differ from the information supplied on collection of the car, this may invalidate your booking and no refunds will be given. Please note that refunds will not be given for rentals rejected for non-production of a valid driving licence or non-disclosure of endorsements or information that will affect the validation of your insurance or booking. Please further note that faxed or photocopied licences or proofs of identification will not be accepted.
A foreign licence must have an English translation otherwise an international licence or drivers permit will be required.
Rental documents
your booking confirmation and rental voucher (if applicable) must be presented when collecting your rental vehicle. YelloCar and Van Hire cannot be held responsible for rentals rejected if a voucher or a booking confirmation is not presented. if you have misplaced your documentation please contact our central reservations on +44 (0) 870 789 7789. As a precaution we recommend that you retain your rental documents for a minimum of 28 days after returning home.
Additional drivers
you can request the additional drivers option during the booking process. Please note that you may be able to request an additional driver upon collection of your car. Any additional charges in relation to this will be paid locally.
Deposits
deposits may vary by location. All clients must produce a valid credit card in the name of driver upon collection of the vehicle as a form of deposit. A deposit is often payable for petrol and is usually refunded if the vehicle is returned with a full tank. if the tank is not full, petrol used will be charged by our local operation at its prevailing rate. Please check the petrol policy when you pick up your car. Deposits against damage are required in some European countries, a major credit card will be required for this purpose.
Provision of Vehicles
please note that suppliers can refuse to provide a vehicle to any customer who, in their opinion, is unfit to drive or does not meet an eligibility requirement. In such circumstances, your contract with YelloCar and Van Hire will terminate immediately and we will have no further liability to you. Please note that in these circumstances, no refund will be given.
Number of passengers
our rental Vehicles are insured for a maximum number of passengers. YelloCar and Van Hire cannot accept responsibility if the vehicle selected is not large enough to fit all passengers and luggage on arrival. Please check vehicle specification before booking.
Driving restrictions
please advise our reservation call centre at the time of booking, if you plan to drive out of the country of vehicle collection. Charges will apply locally for extra insurance and additional breakdown cover. Restrictions are applicable when crossing country/state borders. Charges may apply locally for extra insurance. There is no automatic authority to take the vehicle from the country of hire.
Insurance exclusions and excesses
in common with most car rental companies, YelloCar and Van Hire insurance does not cover tyres, windscreens, the roof and the underside of the vehicle. You may therefore be liable for damage to these items. Insurance cover is not provided for contents of the car in case of theft. Should you require goods and effects insurance, this can be obtained upon collection of your vehicle. You will be asked to pay an insurance deposit to cover insurance excess. Should you select to take a Annual Excess Car Rental Insurance , your deposit will be reduced in line with your new excess.
You will be asked to pay the excess, should the car be subject to wilful damage or if any damage is caused to the car as a result of an accident / collision. In the event of the keys being lost or damaged, you will be liable for the full cost of obtaining a replacement. Should the vehicle be immobile it will be deemed to be on rent and therefore any additional rental charges will become applicable until the vehicle is ready for rental.
Annual Excess Car Rental Insurance
during the quotation / booking process, you are able to acquire our Annual Excess Car Rental Insurance option. YelloCar and Van Hire’s insurance option allows you to further reduce your insurance excess.
Vehicle type / suitability
YelloCar and Van Hire is unable to guarantee a particular make or model of a Vehicle. The Vehicle illustrated within this website or on your voucher / booking form are for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative similar or upgraded (at no extra cost). If you are dissatisfied in any way with the standard of your car, you must advise your local supplier immediately and YelloCar and Van Hire’s head office in writing within 28 days of your return. YelloCar and Van Hire will not accept liability if this procedure is not followed.
Mechanical difficulties / accident
in the event of any mechanical difficulties or accidents involving your car, it is important that details are reported to your local supplier within 24 hours. You must also complete an accident report form by the end of the rental period. Local police should be notified in case of an accident and a signed police report/reference number obtained.
Authority to repair or replace a vehicle may only be given by your local supplier whose name and contact details are shown on your rental documentation and rental agreement. You should retain copies of all rental documentation in the event of any insurance company involvement. Compensation cannot be considered when this procedure is not followed. a check out/in form must be signed upon the return of your vehicle. Failure to do so may result in a delay in the investigation or dispute regarding insurance excess charges.
Complaints
YelloCar and Van Hire aims to resolve complaints within 28 days of receipt. However, some complaints will take longer due to the nature of the issues and information provided. YelloCar and Van Hire may on occasions record telephone conversations for staff training purposes.
Additional conditions applicable to the USA and Canada
third party insurance
all rentals in the USA and Canada include third party liability insurance which conforms with the statutory minimum required by each state but can be as low as $5,000.
Excess liability insurance
in many countries, it is required by law that car insurance must include unlimited third party coverage. In the USA this is not the case. Instead each state establishes a minimum level of cover by law, which may be as low as $5,000. An excess liability insurance (also known as supplementary liability insurance (SLI) or extended protection (EP), is third party liability insurance above this level of protection increasing your third party protection to $1,000,000 in respect of any claims made against you. ‘EP’ also provides cover up to $100,000 ($40,000 in Texas ) to the driver and passengers in the rental vehicle against death or injury caused by a negligent uninsured/under-insured motorist (under-insured motorist protection - ump).
Additional conditions for Australia
mileage
all rentals in metropolitan areas of Australia include unlimited mileage, except minivans where rates include 200kms per day. In country areas rates include 200 kilometres per day. in remote areas the rates include 100 kilometres. In both cases, excess kilometres are charged at au$0.25 per km.
Deposit
a security deposit of between au$250 and au$1000 depending on car group, is required to be made upon collection of the vehicle. Most major credit cards in the driver's name are acceptable for this holding deposit.
General conditions
all bookings by our clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied, by custom or in the course of dealing shall form part of any contract between YelloCar and Van Hire and our clients, except for those terms implied by law whose application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a booking with YelloCar and Van Hire, it does so only on the basis of the material contained in this terms and conditions section and website. All other statements or representations made by YelloCar and Van Hire, its employees, agents or representatives are of no effect unless confirmed by us to the client in writing. YelloCar and Van Hire source vehicles from various rental companies in the countries in which it operates. The rental of the vehicle will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you and for this reason you will be required to sign a rental contract with the rental company which supplies the vehicle. You should satisfy yourself that you understand and agree to its terms, and the local law. YelloCar and Van Hire cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed and accepted locally. YelloCar and Van Hire reserves the right to levy any government increases in local vat that may be introduced after the preparation of these terms and conditions. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local vat at the prevailing rate in that country.
YelloCar and Van Hire will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The client will indemnify YelloCar and Van Hire against this in respect of such claims.

Our responsibility
- Since we are principally aiming the Website at the UK and EU markets we cannot guarantee that it accords with local laws of other countries (though we will try to make sure it does).
- We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
- We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.

YelloCar Hire Ltd full terms and conditions
1. Introduction
(a) These Terms and Conditions of Business govern the legal relationship between you (“You”) and YelloCar Hire Limited (“the Company” and or “We” or “Us”).
(b) By making a Reservation (as defined below) You are deemed to have read and to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of business to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.
(c) No changes can be made be made to these Terms and Conditions except in writing signed by a director of the Company. No employee or agent of the Company is authorised to waive or modify any of these Terms and Conditions except in writing and then only after obtaining the authorisation of a director of the Company.
2. Our Obligations to You
(a) We agree to provide to You a quotation for the supply to You of a hire vehicle at a specified location on a specified date for a specified price (a “Quotation”).
(b) We undertake upon your acceptance of a Quotation, to make a reservation in your name with a hire vehicle supplier (a “Supplier”) in accordance with the Quotation (a “Reservation”).
(c) We will not take payment from You for a Reservation until We have received confirmation from the Supplier that a hire vehicle is available in accordance with our Quotation.
(d) Upon confirmation from the Supplier We shall collect payment and We agree to forward to You vouchers for production to the Supplier to show that You have paid for the hire vehicle and have made a Reservation in accordance with the Quotation (a “Vehicle Hire Voucher”). These will be sent to You either by fax, post or by e-mail.
(e) We agree to use reasonable care and skill in the performance of these services.
3. The Quotation
(a) The Quotation given to You will, unless specified otherwise, include the hire of a vehicle, unlimited mileage, third party insurance, collision damage waiver, theft waiver, either breakdown recovery or replacement hire vehicle and local taxes (except where the hire vehicle is to be used in Australia or Israel where these items must be purchased at extra cost locally at the commencement of the hire).
(b) Quotations cannot be given for specific types and or models of hire vehicles. All Suppliers place their hire vehicles into “classes” dependent on the size of the hire vehicle in question. Therefore all Quotations will be valid for a “class” of hire vehicle only rather than for a specific model of hire vehicle. We do not accept any liability if the Supplier is unable to provide a specific model of hire vehicle requested.
(c) Quotations are for the use of a hire vehicle within national boundaries. If You wish to use a hire vehicle to cross any national boundary then You must advise us at the time You request a Quotation. You must also obtain the advance consent of the Supplier to such use and pay such Supplier any additional charges or fees which it levies for granting such permission (if such Supplier will permit such use).
(d) Hire vehicles cannot be used for off-roading or any other unusual use. Hire vehicles are only covered by insurance when used on adopted made up roads.
4. Your Duty to Us
In order to provide You with an appropriate Quotation You agree to:
(a) Provide Us with your correct travel details: location, dates, times, flight number (if applicable).
(b) Inform Us at the time of making your Reservation of any endorsements on Your and/or any additional drivers driving licence. In particular but without limitation, all convictions for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol in the preceding ten year period must be disclosed to Us.
(c) Inform Us if You or anyone that it is proposed shall drive the hire vehicle are aged under 30 or over 65 (age restrictions apply in certain Countries and are imposed by certain Suppliers).
(d) Request a hire vehicle suitable for the size of your party and luggage. Hire vehicles are insured for a maximum number of passengers and You should ensure that the hire vehicle You make a Reservation for, is of a suitable size.
5. Your Contract with the Supplier
(a) When You collect your hire vehicle You will be asked by the Supplier to sign a legally binding contract between You and the Supplier that will govern the arrangements between you both, in relation to the collection, use and return of the hire vehicle (a “Vehicle Rental Agreement”).
(b) We are not a party to this Vehicle Rental Agreement and We accept no liability whatsoever for any aspect of the Vehicle Rental Agreement. If You have any issues to resolve in relation to the collection, use, return or condition of your hire vehicle You must take these issues up directly with the Supplier itself.
(c) We are not a party to any additional services provided locally by the Supplier, We accept no liability whatsoever for any additional services payable locally in connection with a Reservation. If You have any issues to resolve in relation to the provision of additional services You must take these issues up directly with the Supplier itself.
(d) You must provide the Supplier, at the time of collection of your hire vehicle, with your and any other nominated drivers full driving licence, which is valid and applicable to your country of residence.
(i) Please note that United Kingdom residents must provide both parts of their driving licence, the paper copy and the photo card, if held.
(ii) Drivers must have held their licence for a minimum of one year (with some Suppliers two years).
(iii) If You hold a driving licence that is not written in English or some other main European language (for example: Arabic) and You wish to hire a vehicle in the United Kingdom or Ireland You will need to provide an English translation of your licence. Some Suppliers outside of the United Kingdom will accept an International driving licence however this cannot be guaranteed.
(iv)Photocopies of driving licences will not be accepted.
(e) We cannot guarantee that You will be provided with the exact make and model of hire vehicle shown on your Vehicle Hire Voucher, as Suppliers reserve the right to supply hire vehicles by “class” rather than by make and/or model.
(f) Suppliers retain the right to refuse to provide a hire vehicle to any person who appears to be unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances your contract will be terminated immediately and We will have no liability to You.
(g) You must return your hire vehicle within the agreed rental period. No refunds will be made on partial rentals and late returns will be charged at local rates and taxes.
(h) The use of the hire vehicle will be subject to the laws of the country in which it is driven.
(i) The Vehicle Hire Voucher forwarded to You by Us must be presented to the Supplier on your arrival at the point of hire. Failure to provide the Supplier with your original Vehicle Hire Voucher may result in the Supplier collecting full payment for the hire vehicle at local rates and / or not being able to honour the Reservation at all.
(j) If for any reason you are not content with the condition of your hire vehicle You must inform the Supplier immediately.
6. Collection of Your Hire Vehicle
(a) If You intend to collect your hire vehicle at an airport You also agree to provide to Us the flight number and estimated time of arrival of your flight. If You do not have this information at the time of making your Reservation You agree to forward it to Us as soon as possible thereafter. If your flight number is not supplied, or we are not informed of any changes and/or delays then the Supplier may not provide the hire vehicle. We accept no liability whatsoever in these circumstances.
(b) If You require your hire vehicle to be available at an airport outside of working hours We can normally arrange this for You however at the at time of Reservation this is on a “request basis” with the Supplier and cannot be guaranteed. In most cases this will attract an out of hours charge. We will supply You with details of this charge at the time of receiving your outbound flight information or if the charge is not known at that time, upon notification of the charge from the Supplier. Should your flight be delayed causing collection of your hire vehicle to fall within out of hours times this charge will also apply. Any such out of hours charges are payable locally to the Supplier.
(c) If You require your hire vehicle to be delivered at the start of your hire to a location other than at the Suppliers place of business or You require your hire vehicle to be collected by the Supplier at the end of the hire period You must inform Us at the time that You request a Quotation. These additional services can only occasionally be arranged. In order for Us to attempt to arrange these additional services We will require full details of the address and time of delivery/collection at the time that You make your Reservation. Where this extra service is available additional delivery and/or collection charges will apply. All such charges will be payable locally to the Supplier.
7. Insurance Excess and Deposits
(a) Upon collection of the hire vehicle You must produce to the Supplier a valid credit card in the name of the main driver.
(b) Petrol deposits are often payable and are generally refundable if the hire vehicle is returned with a full tank of petrol or diesel (as appropriate). If the hire vehicle is not returned with a full tank of petrol or diesel (as appropriate) You will be charged locally for the petrol/diesel required to fill the tank together with a service charge for refuelling. Some Suppliers hire the hire vehicle empty of petrol and or diesel and it should be returned empty. Each Supplier sets its own fuel policy; We do not accept any liability whatsoever for any fuel charges levied by Suppliers.
(c) The Supplier may also require an insurance excess deposit be made by You to cover it against the risk of damage or theft occurring to the hire vehicle. The supplier determines the amount of this insurance excess deposit. If you require details of any excess that may be applicable You may call Us for details.
(d) You are advised to check the details of the Insurance cover of the hire vehicle at the time that You collect your hire vehicle as it is common for there to be exclusions in respect of damage to items such as windscreens, tyres, undersides, roofs, wing mirrors, interiors, wilful damage, vandalism etc.
(e) Nothing within these Terms and Conditions entitles any Supplier to make any charges against your credit card without your authority. In the event that any such unauthorised charges are made You should take this up with the Supplier directly. We take no responsibility for any such unauthorised charge.
8. Additional Charges
(a) In most locations adding additional drivers will attract an extra charge. We will supply You with details of such charges upon your request at the time you make your Reservation.
(b) If You require any additional items such as a child seat, roof rack, ski rack or snow chains for example, You should inform Us of this requirement at the time You make your Reservation. Such items will incur additional charges, which will be subject to local taxes. Whilst We will make every effort to secure these items for You, no guarantee can be given as to their availability (You should note that in certain regions child seats are mandatory). All payments for additional items are made locally to the Supplier, We do not accept any liability whatsoever for the provision of these services or any associated charges.
(c) Where possible, We are happy to arrange one way and/or cross border bookings. However in most cases this will attract an additional one-way charge that will be payable locally. We can only give You an indication of the likely additional charges that will be levied by the Supplier for one way or cross border bookings. You are advised to confirm the charge that will be levied against You when You collect your hire vehicle from the Supplier.
(d) We do not arrange any personal accident insurance, any insurance exclusions nor, any garage parking. These may be available locally with the Supplier and any associated charges will be payable to the Supplier.
9. Limitation / Exclusion of Liability
(a) We shall have no liability to You for any loss, damage, cost, expense or other claim for compensation arising from any information or instructions supplied to Us by You which are incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, illegible, out of sequence or in the wrong form or which arise from late arrival or non arrival of the same or any other fault attributable to You.
(b) If You use our website and/or contact Us by telephone but do not make a Reservation then We exclude all liability to You to the fullest extent permitted by law.
(c) Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by Our negligence We shall not be liable to You for reason of any representation (unless fraudulent) or any implied warranty, condition or other term or any other duty at common law or under the express terms of any contract for any loss of profit or any indirect special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the negligence of the Company, its servants, agents or otherwise) which arises out of or in connection with the provision of a Quotation, a Reservation or any other services provided by Us and our entire liability under or in connection with the provision of a Quotation, the making of a Reservation and any other services supplied shall not exceed the amount paid by You to Us for a Quotation and or Reservation and other services.
(d) We shall not be liable to You or be deemed to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions by reason of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of our obligations in relation to the services to be provided to You if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control including without limitation: strikes, lockouts, adverse weather conditions, security alerts, airport closures, terrorist actions, Government restrictions and/or acts of God.
10. Cancellation / Amendments
(a) Following the making of your Reservation You have a seven-day period in which You can cancel your Reservation free of charge. Any cancellations made after this seven day period will attract the appropriate charge as set out in these Terms and Conditions.
(b) Any cancellation must be made in writing to Us and must be accompanied with any Vehicle Hire Voucher already received by You. The cancellation of Your Reservation will attract the following charges:-
(i) If You give Us more than 14 days notice prior to commencement of the hire period you will be charged 25% of the full price payable.
(ii) If You cancel the Reservation within 14 days of the date of the commencement of the hire period then we will charge You 50% of the full price payable.
(iii) If You cancel Your Reservation within 7 days of the commence of the hire period proposed then you will be charged 100% of the full price payable.
(c) Cancellation Protection allows You to cancel your reservation for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the vehicle collection time and to obtain a full refund (less the cancellation protection charge) Cancellation Protection is currently available from Us and is charged by us at £5 per Reservation.
(d) Where possible We will attempt to comply with Your requests for any amendments to your Reservation although no guarantee in this respect is given. Each amendment to Your Reservation that can be accommodated will attract (in addition to any other charges that may arise) a £15.00 administration fee
11. General
(a) We are entitled to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and You are therefore advised that each time you make a Reservation with Us either from a website or by telephone with our call centre to check the latest copy of our Terms and Conditions of business which will apply to that Quotation.
(b) No failure or delay by either You or Us in exercising any rights under these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be a waiver of that right and no waiver by either You or Us of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the other shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
(c) If You are a citizen of the United States of America or Canada You cannot use our website and/or Our Call Centre to make a Reservation for the use of a hire vehicle within the United States of America and or Canada. If You have accepted a Quotation and made a Reservation in breach of this clause You will not be able to collect the hire vehicle from the Supplier and Our agreement will be deemed to have been cancelled on the date that the hire would otherwise have commenced.
(d) US and Canadian citizens can use our website and call centre to make reservations for any other country.
(e) If You experience undue difficulty in resolving any issue with a Supplier We will, as a courtesy to You, but without being contractually obliged to do so, assist You in contacting the Supplier in question and will attempt to assist You to resolve such issues with that Supplier.
(f) You are always responsible for any traffic fines, toll fees, congestion charges, parking tickets all optional extras, all fuel charges, insurance excesses and deposits.
(g) Any complaints made to Us must be supplied in writing within 28 days of the completion of the hire. We will not accept any responsibility for any complaints not raised with Us within such time period.
h) We do not guarantee that our Quotation will be the cheapest price at which your specified requirements can be fulfilled nor do We guarantee that the price quoted You will be available for acceptance by You at any time after the 14th day after we have provided the Quotation to You.
i) In the event of damage to the hire vehicle You should refer to the Vehicle Rental Agreement. However in addition to complying with the Vehicle Rental Agreement You must also: -
(a). Notify the Supplier immediately
(b). Not repair the hire vehicle yourself
(c). Obtain a signed police report in respect of any accident
(d). Complete an accident form (obtainable from the Supplier)
(e). Obtain details of any third parties
(f). Obtain a signed “check out form” when the hire vehicle is returned
(g).You must not admit or acknowledge any liability. Failure to follow any of these requirements and forward all relevant information to Us and or the Supplier upon your return will seriously jeopardise and or prevent any successful claim being made by You or by Us for the return of any insurance excess charges that You may have had to pay to the Supplier (such claims being possible where damage to the hire vehicle is attributable to the fault of another only).
j) It may be possible to extend the duration of a Reservation however this must be arranged locally with the Supplier. Any extension arranged with the Supplier will be charged at the local daily rate.
12. EnglishLaw
English law shall apply to these Terms and Conditions and both You and the Company agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Terms and Conditions of Business
